About Us
Daitron Incorporated was founded in 1986, and is headquartered in Wilsonville, Oregon, USA as a wholly owned subsidiary of Daito Electron Co., Ltd., which is based in Japan. Daitron’s various business divisions have evolved in reflection of the ever-changing industries that we serve, and likewise, the products and services we offer are as diverse as the customers we support.
Two divisions operate from our location in Wilsonville, Oregon; the Equipment, Components, & Consumables Division and the Electronics Division. The Equipment, Components, & Consumables Division provides equipment, consumables, components, logistics, on-site service and engineering expertise primarily to the semiconductor and solar cell industries. The Electronics Division distributes visual imaging products for general industry machine vision, medical, security and video production, as well as a broad assortment of batteries, power supplies, interconnect and automation products.
Our Lincoln, Nebraska facility is home to the Value Added Assembly Division, which focuses on the manufacture of wire and cable harnesses, control boxes, and mechanical assemblies for a variety of heavy industries.
Sunnyvale, California is home to the i-Chips subsidiary of Daitron. The i-Chips Division serves as the sole, contracted distributor of the i-Chips line of image processing IC’s for North America, Europe, and Israel.
Daitron’s parent company, Daito Electronic Co., Ltd., is a sales and manufacturing company specializing in the electronics and semiconductor industries.
